We are Leeds SCUBA Club (BSAC 115). We are a branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) which is the national body for scuba-diving in the UK.
We are all volunteers who are passionate about diving and helping others discover a love for scuba.
We offer internationally recognised scuba-diving training for absolute beginners and experienced divers.
We have an active dive trip calendar to sites in the UK and abroad, with access to club kit and free air fills.
There is also an active social calendar with club meals, nights out, and presentations on diving related topics.
We are based at the Aquatics Centre at the ‘John Charles Centre for Sport’ in Middlelton, Leeds. We run fortnightly pool sessions in the (5.5m depth) diving pool on Wednesdays. Entry in to the pool costs £7 (to cover the pool hire costs). On the alternate (non-pool ‘dry’ sessions) we offer opportunities such as: theory lectures (these complement the pool training), guest lectures, skills development courses, as well as social evenings for members to join in with.
